Though she is best known for her chart-topping music and wicked dance moves, international pop star Rihanna will soon be renowned in the fashion world as well. The singer is set to launch a UK reality television show this summer in which burgeoning fashion designers compete for the opportunity to dress her.  The winning outfit will be on display when Rihanna performs at London’s wireless festival in July.

Rihanna will be executive-producing the (as yet unnamed) show, which is scheduled to air on Britain’s channel 'Sky Living'.  The singer will appear on the show and be very involved in the casting.

Rihanna told 'Sky Living', "I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today."Nicola Roberts of UK group 'Girls Aloud' will be the show’s host.  Roberts has already dipped into the world of fashion with her 'Dainty Doll' makeup range and has expressed her admiration for Rihanna, dubbing her one of her “style icons.”

“I'm so excited for us to get started on finding a new up-and-coming British designer who just needs a chance, a little bit of help in getting their skills noticed," said Roberts. Together, Rihanna and Roberts will be scouring the cutting-edge British fashion scene for the latest and greatest undiscovered designers for over 10 weeks.

The new Rihanna blonde hair look was taken to another level recently as the R&B singer donned thigh high black boots to attend an NBA game. Never one to shy away from fashion, Ri Ri is seen rocking this interesting look in several new photos online.

Singer Rihanna seems to enjoy her fair share of NBA games, as she's been to several during her famed career. The recent photos which have surfaced and show off her hair and boots come from the other night's Nuggets vs. Clippers game at Staples Center. The website MediaTakeOut refers to Rihanna's look as "thigh high hooker boots," which she has topped off with a white or pink sweater and pendant or necklace. Rihanna is seen walking courtside in one picture with her sweater baring her left shoulder. Also that blonde hair is flowing down past her shoulders.

Of course once she's seated, the sexy pics reveal Rihanna's legs. The black boots, which MTO says are Louboutins, are interesting looking and almost act as pants for the singer, who may be wearing the sweater as a skirt/dress. The "Rated-R" singer certainly dares to take chances and doesn't care who sees. Of course some may argue she does this to grab attention and headlines. For those wondering, pairs of Louboutins boots can run $1,000 and up depending on the style. Ready to order?

It may be snowing in many parts of the world, but that didn't stop Rihanna from keeping her buttons undone.
The 23-year-old singer wore stepped out in West Hollywood on Thursday night and ended up revealing a bit too much. The Rude Boy singer was spotted leaving Palms nightclub wearing a denim playsuit which highlighted her new blonde hairdo even more.

But rather than wrap up warm with a jacket and scarf, Rihanna purposely left the top three buttons of the garment undone and ended up exposing some of her chest. She teamed the blue garment with a pair of black stilettos and burgundy lipstick, and seemed in good spirits as she made her to a waiting vehicle.

The singer was bviosuly keen to wear the jumpsuit as she revealed on Twitter last night that had actually deisgned it herself for Armani. She is well-known for changing her look quite dramatically so it was no surprise when she stepped out sporting her lighter hairstyle. Rihanna revealed that she had bleached her frizzy brown hair for a photo shoot with ELLE magazine, her first cover shoot of the year.

She joked that the boots were 'stripperish too,' and wore them with a tiny pair of Daisy Dukes and a white off-the-shoulder jumper - no doubt attire for the photo shoot.

Rihanna will act as executive producer of the fashion design competition, with a similar premise as Project Catwalk and Project Runway. The series will debut this summer on Sky Living. Over ten weeks the designers will compete to dress different celebrities, with the eventual winner getting to dress Rihanna for a high-profile festival performance in July.

Speaking of the venture, Rihanna said: "I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage".

She added: "I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show". Roberts said: "This show is here to discover those people and give them a shot. I'm looking for someone who can think outside the box while using their imagination, someone who isn't going to give up at the first hurdle and ultimately someone who can't be undiscovered anymore".

ITN reports that Rihanna hand-picked Roberts herself to help host the show. Rihanna will mostly work behind the camera but will have an input during casting for the show and the finale.

Rihanna has been "going a bit wild" during her extended holiday. The singer has enjoyed a lengthy break in her native Barbados recently, following the end of her Loud tour and the release of her new album.

There have been suggestions she has been partying too hard while there, with some claiming she has been smoking marijuana. However, those close to her insist she is just having fun while on holiday.

"Right now she's just letting off steam," a source told Look magazine. "Ri's been working hard and has just had her heart broken by Chris [Brown] again, so it's natural she wants to get drunk and go a bit wild. But we're all sure she'll get back to her usual happy self once she gets home and back into her routine."

There has been speculation Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris have been spending time together lately, but it's not thought they are back together. They have been spotted in the same nightclub but Chris has a new girlfriend. It's thought he has been texting Rihanna, but it's more about the pair of them moving on from their fraught relationship.

"They were each other's first loves and that's something that'll never go away, which is why they were tweeting one another at the end of last year," the insider added. "But they were also really bad for each other. They argued all the time, and everyone knows the violent way the relationship ended."

The former couple split three years ago after an argument turned violent. Chris was charged with assaulting the pop beauty and served with a restraining order. The protective order slammed on the rapper was lifted a year ago. It required that they have no contact with each other.

In a controversial, but probably not planned move, Chris Brown and Rihanna partied at the same club last night. Yes people, can you believe it?

This only fuelled the speculation that Rihanna and Chris were getting back together, however there were a few points in the evening that suggest otherwise. Although we’re not entirely sure what happened inside the club, The Daily Mail reported that, once Rihanna and Chris left the club, revelers started tweeting about them. However, many said that they did not actually see the pair interact.

Maybe, just maybe, this had something to do with the fact that Chris was there with his GIRLFRIEND Karrueche. Just to hammer home this fact, Chris’s rep told ABC News: “He and Rihanna are just friends. He is with his girlfriend Karrueche, and is not cheating.”

Also, according to the Daily Mail, they were both seen leaving separately, with Chris leaving the club through the front door while Rihanna snuck through a side door and hopped into a waiting SUV with her bodyguard. We don’t think that anything major happened, although we weren’t there so obviously we can’t know for sure. But one thing that puzzles us is, out of all the clubs Chris and Rihanna could have chosen to go to in Hollywood, they both picked the same one. Strange, huh?

The singer is set to play a US Navy weapons officer in the film Battleship, based on the popular board game of the same name. The movie is directed by Peter Berg, the man behind the 2008 film Hancock starring Will Smith and Charlize Theron.

He says Rihanna has a big future on the big screen. "I've worked with musicians before and I always expected there was a great actress in Rihanna," he said. "That's just from watching her intensity and how hot she is in her music videos."Peter Berg, 49, spent four months with the star filming near Hawaii.

"For anyone that's been on a music video set, it's not so easy to do sexy," he said. "If it was, there would be a lot more Rihannas."The 23-year-old singer recently released Talk That Talk, her sixth studio album, and is reported to have sold more than 60 million albums worldwide.

"Rihanna lived in this small really unglamorous hotel room for four months," he said. "It was really hot, there was nothing but really bad fried food."Despite being a global pop icon, Peter Berg says there were no diva-style demands from the star.

"She had no entourage, she shared the same little trailer as everyone else did."Battleship also stars Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch. Peter Berg hasn't ruled out a sequel providing it does well at the box office. As for Rihanna's career in Hollywood, the director said: "Battleship is a small role but she does a great job in it.

"If she wants to be a huge movie star then in a year you'll be sitting here with her talking about whatever her next film is."Rihanna has previously appeared in 2006 film Bring It On: All or Nothing, which went straight to DVD.

Coldplay are set to perform a duet with Rihanna at the Grammys Awards on February 12. Rihanna told the digital world via her Twitter page: “My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards! #BONKERS [sic].”

Rihanna and Coldplay will perform their duet “Princess of China,” from the band’s recent Mylo Xyloto album. According to MusicNews.com, Coldplay’s Chris Martin has previously described the duet with Rihanna as the highlight of the album: “Well, her bit on our record is my favorite bit. When the song came out, it sort of asked for her to be on it.”

Rihanna's been taking a break in Hawaii this week and has posted no shortage of photos of herself in skimpy bikinis on her Twitter page to keep her fans happy! The Bajan singer came under fire last week for some recent photographs that showed her smoking what many suspected to be a certain illegal substance, something the "Umbrella" singer didn't deny, but rather alluded to via messages on Twitter.

Last Thursday, she tweeted, "4:20... Hi" (4:20 being a slang term for smoking pot that began in California in the 1970s), and then she dropped another hint on Sunday with the message, "Kush rolled, glass full... I prefer the better things!" (Kush is an Afghan strain of cannabis). And on Wednesday, Rihanna posted pics of herself in a silver twist one-piece with the message "Wake...Bake...#CAKE," yet another reference to smoking the Maui Wowie.

One might wonder how Ri-Ri can get away with getting stoned on the beach in Hawaii, and that's because in 2008 the Aloha State made possession of the substance a "low priority" for law enforcement officials. Adults there are allowed to possess up to 24 plants on private property for personal usage, and the state's Big Island no longer accepts government funds for marijuana eradication.

Rihanna's recent batch of sexy photos included messages like "Strike a POSE," "We #SWAGGIN, We Surfing!!" and a random shout-out to socialite Khloe Kardashian ("Haaaa!!! Come tap this @KhloeKardashian") which she later edited to just say, "#SNAP."The singer recently confirmed that she'll be performing "Princess of China," her hit collaboration with Coldplay, at this year's Grammy Awards. The track is from the band's latest album, "Mylo Xyloto."
