Rihanna Videos: Rihanna's 'S & M' motion picture tops iTunes outline betwixt written falsification assertions: Rihanna's hot new music video to the song "S & M" off her "Loud" album is the number one most downloaded video on iTunes for Saturday, February 5, 2011. "S & M" is a racy video that many critics are calling inappropriate, but that's not the only problem. The images in Rihanna's video are strikingly similar to pictures taken by photographer David LaChapelle. In fact, there are so many similarities that many fans of LaChapelle's initially thought he had directed the video.
The "S & M" video was actually directed by 30-year-old American music video director Melina Matsoukas. Matsoukas had already worked with Rihanna on "Hard," "Rude Boy" and "Rockstar 101." She has also directed music videos for Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, and Snoop Dogg (among others).
David LaChapelle is the photographer behind Lady Gaga's nearly-nude photos where she wears nothing but strips of newsprint. One scene in Rihanna's video is reminiscent of Gaga's photos.
Another scene in Rihanna's video shows the singer walking famous blogger Perez Hilton on a leash. A photo by David LaChapelle is quite similar as well.
