And in a newly-released video, the “Russian Roulette” songstress shows off the raw magnetism that garnered her the nomination - though "30 Rock" actress Katrina Bowden ended up being doted with the magazine's title.
Back in July, Ri-Ri confessed that doing the photo shoot was a bit intimidating for her. She tweeted, “I shot my first cover for Esquire yesterday with Russell James. Not much preparation for that besides wax+starve!!”
As for her role model status, Rihanna shared, "I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life. I feel like pop stars can't be rock stars anymore because they have to be role models, and it takes the fun out of it for us, because we just want to have fun with art."
