Rihanna has reportedly planned a girlie getaway to Mexico, to help Katy Perry overcome her divorce heartache. Perry has been confiding in pal Rihanna since Russell Brand filed for divorce after just 14 months of marriage. According to a source the two singers have cleared their schedules to go away this month. “Rihanna has been there for Katy, texting her from Miami where she’s on holiday. Now they are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head,” the Mirror quoted the source as saying.
It is being rumoured that the British funny man split from Perry, as she did not want to have children.
“Katy is absolutely devastated, but the rows over starting a family had just come to a head. Yes she had agreed to take a year out to focus on children, but she realised the timing was all wrong. She is too young and does not want to put her music on the back burner while she is on top of her game,” the source added.
The 27-year-old pop star had revealed that she was absolutely shattered after a gruelling world tour. It left her with very little time to see her husband and the pair were last spotted together at a charity benefit in LA on December 3.
